4th Sunday in Easter
Easter is not one day, it is an entire seven week season. During Easter we hear the stories of how Jesus appeared to his friends after his Resurrection. The last week in Easter is when we celebrate Jesus’ Ascension into heaven.
Heaven is both “now and not yet”. We are asked to be co-creators, not observers from the sidelines.
What do you think about heaven? If you said a place in the clouds, you would be giving a pop culture answer, but it wouldn’t be accurate to the Gospels. So what is heaven?
