7th Sunday in Easter: Ascension
Easter is not one day, it is an entire seven week season. During Easter we hear the stories of how Jesus appeared to his friends after his Resurrection. The last week in Easter is when we celebrate Jesus’ Ascension into heaven.
God is in the bad times because God is with us, not because God created those bad times to see what would happen.
One of the challenges with Christian theology is that people want simple answers to complex questions. It doesn’t work that way. When we become teens simple answers don’t satisfy. The answer to this week’s question took generations to figure out.
