History vs Tradition

So many of us were raised with tradition being taught at history, but they are not the same things. A lot of work has been done over the past several decades separating the two, and more work has to be done.

Tradition also covers up history. Part of that uncovering is accepting the dark parts of our Christian history, such as the abuse and murder of indigenous children in Residential schools throughout Canada and the US. We have to look at the good parts as well as the bad and horrific.

This video was recorded before the unmarked graves of hundreds of children were discovered.
