Read John 13:31-35 with your family.

Jesus told us we were supposed to love one another. The love Jesus was talking about wasn’t just a feeling, it was meant to be an action. Christianity is about love in action… that is our faith. We love and worship God, and we show that love by how we treat others.

Active love looks like:
– taking care of the environment
– helping strangers and others in our community
– telling others how important it is to make sure people have food to eat, clothing to wear, and a safe place to live
– being kind to animals
– showing that we are all the same in God’s eyes, no matter how we dress, the colour of our skin, or what language we speak
