Kids Korner: Walking with us (April 19th)

Read Luke 24:13-35 with your family.

Two people were walking home together. They were sad and confused about what had happened. As they walked, Jesus came and joined them – but they didn’t recognize Him at first. He simply walked with them and listened.

Sometimes we feel like that too. We might feel upset, confused, or unsure about something in our lives. The good news is that Jesus walks with us in those moments. Even if we don’t realize it, He is right there beside us.

As the couple talked with Jesus, their hearts began to feel different. They started to feel hope again. When we talk to Jesus, pray, or even just take a quiet moment, He can help our hearts feel stronger and more peaceful.

This week, think about your own “walk home” moments – times when you are just going through your day. Try to remember that Jesus is with you. You can say, “Jesus, walk with me today,” and trust that you are never alone.
